How to Edit Videos
Wondershare DVD Creator also functions as video editor that edits your video via Trim, Crop, Apply Effects, Add Subtitles, etc. Each of these editing features will be explained below in detail.

To get started, launch Wondershare DVD Creator and choose More DVD Tools >> from the main interface.
You'll see Data Disc, ISO to DVD, Video Editor, Slideshow Maker, One-click to Burn DVD Disc, One-click to Burn Blu-ray Disc, DVD to DVD, DVD to Video, and Blu-ray Disc to Video 9 bonus functions. Hit Video Editor to get the video editing window.
Part 1. Trim Video
Step 1 Add Video File
Click to import the video you want to trim from your local computer.
Step 2 Trim Video
Play the loaded video and click the Add Trim Marker button when it comes to the point you want to cut.
You’ll see the specific Start Time and End Time for the selected video segment.
Step 3 Set Cutting Preference
After that, click to set your Preference by selecting Keep the selected section or Delete the selected section.
Part 2. Crop Video
Step 1 Rotate Video
Click and you’ll be able to rotate video just as the screenshot shows.
Step 2 Adjust Crop Size
Hit the Crop button, you’d get the crop size box and crop area on the video simultaneously. Then you can freely edit the width and length in the crop size box, or drag the crop area to your preferred size.
Step 3 Change Aspect Ratio
Click to change the video Aspect Ration. As you can see, you can keep Original Resolution, or change to Crop Size, Letterbox, Full Screen, etc.
Part 3. Add Effects to Video
Step 1 Enhance Video
Click to enhance your video by adjusting video Volume, Brightness, Contrast and Saturation.
Step 2 Add Video Filter
You can also select your favorite filter from the circled area to customize your video.
Part 4. Add Watermark to Video
Step 1 Select Watermark Type
Click to add watermark to video. Note that Wondershare DVD Creator supports Image and Text 2 types.
Step 2 Add Watermark
Select image type and upload your target image watermark from local computer. After that, change the image Transparency as you wish.
Part 5. Add Subtitles to Video
Step 1 Add Subtitles
Click to add subtitles to video. Generally, there’re 2 options for you to add subtitles.
- Add local subtitle: Click … to browse your local subtitle files (.srt/.ass/.ssa supported) computer.
- Search subtitle online: Hit the Search subtitle to download subtitles online.
Step 2 Adjust Subtitle Transparancy
Then adjust the subtitle transparency as the screenshot shows.
Step 3 Change Subtitle Position
After that, you can change the subtitle position by making it Top, Middle or Bottom.
When you’re satisfied with above video editing, hit Save as mp4 in the bottom right to save above changes.
