How to Burn YouTube Music to CD with All Helpful Ways
Want to learn how to burn YouTube Music to CD? It’s a bit of a two-part process. Starting with, of course, downloading music from the site itself and then using a burner program for copying the downloaded audio onto a disc! We’ve completed that process for you down below, starting with a way of downloading music directly from YouTube and then moving forward with a couple of music-to-CD programs that you can use afterward.
Part 1. How to Get Music from YouTube
As mentioned, we’re going to start with a method of downloading music from YouTube. For this, we’re going to use the third-party YouTube music downloader, Aimersoft iTube. The program is actually made for this purpose. You can use it to download music from most popular websites.
How to Get Music from YouTube with iTube
Step One: Launch iTube
Upon launching the iTube program, you will be greeted by this screen (shown in the image below.) On there, the program will offer you a way of installing a Chrome plug-in for your PC. You can install it if you want — that will allow you to use iTube remotely (without launching the program each time.)
Step Two: Online > YouTube
On the other hand, you can also just stick to iTube for downloading your music. It has a built-in Online feature that acts like a web-browser. Select that and you will be led to this screen (refer to the image below). You can either click the YouTube thumbnail as it appears at the top of the selection of websites OR you can paste a specific YouTube URL in the browser search bar.
Step Three: Search YouTube & Download
We’re almost done here, all you have to do is search YouTube for the music that you want to download, play the audio video, and then click the blue Download button that appears on your screen.

Part 3. How to Burn YouTube Music to CD on Mac Computer
For our second demonstration, we will be teaching you how to burn YouTube Music to CD on a Mac computer. You won’t have to download anything special for this step, but you will need to have one of the newer versions of the Mac OS (for the process to be similar to the one we’re going to be showing you down below.)
How to Burn YouTube Music to CD on Mac Computer
Step One: Create a Folder for YouTube Music
After downloading music with the iTube downloader, you need to put it in its own separate the folder. You’ll be able to find the “New Folder” option by right-clicking on a blank area of your desktop screen.
Step Two: Insert Blank Disc
For step two, you need to insert a blank disk to your device. You won’t have to do anything special for this — and can pretty much ignore the pop-up that appears after. Just click “Ignore” to move forward.
Step Three: Burn “Music” to Disc...
For step three, you need to select the folder that you created in step one and right-click to find the Burn “_(Folder Name)_” to Disc… option.
Step Four: Burn
We’re almost done here, all you have to do is give your disc a name and decide how quickly you want your CD to be burned (choosing slow speeds usually result in better quality audio.) Then, you can click the “Burn” button.
Part 4. How to Burn YouTube Music to CD with iTunes
For our last demonstration, we’re going to be using the iTunes media player to burn our YouTube Music onto a disc. It’s similar to the Mac demonstration, but just a little bit fussier. Nevertheless, it’s completely plausible to use iTunes to burn YouTube Music to CD. You just have to start out with a playlist that has the audio that you want to burn inside of it.
How to Burn YouTube Music to CD with iTunes
Step One: Create a Playlist
In order to burn YouTube music onto a CD with iTunes, you’re going to need to create a new playlist first. This playlist will be what is burned onto the disc later. So, be very careful of what you put into it. Create a New Playlist with iTunes by selecting audio from your iTunes library, right-clicking, and then choosing the following: Add to Playlist > New Playlist.
Step Two: File Tab
In order to be able to burn music with iTunes, you need to find the Burn Playlist to Disc option — which is located under the File tab. (As is shown in the image below).
Step Three: Burn YouTube Music to CD with iTunes
After clicking the Burn Playlist to Disc option, a pop-up window will appear on your screen. It has default choices made for you (which you can stick to or change based on what you need).
- ● Preferred Speed: Change speed as necessary (slower speeds tend to result in better quality audio).
- ● Disc Format: Audio CDs are better in quality (but the uncompressed audio will take up lots of space), MP3 CDs are lower in quality (but you can fit more inside of it), and finally Data CDs can hold a bunch of different files at once (but it might not be compatible with certain CD players).
When you’ve made your decision, you can click “Burn” to initiate the music-to-CD copying process.
Conclusion:
That concludes our breakdown of all the helpful ways available for burning YouTube Music to CD. We recommend that you try out the iTube Downloader for downloading your YouTube audio and then burning it with the Wondershare DVD Creator.
