How to Put Music on CD with Wondershare DVD Creator
Step One: Data Disc
Wondershare is used primarily to create DVDs. However, for today, we’re going to be using it to learn how to put Music on a disc. To do so, launch the Wondershare DVD Creator program and click the Data Disc option on the welcome menu screen.
Step Two: Upload Music to Put on a CD
Next, we’re going to be adding the audio that we want to put onto our CD. This part is fairly intuitive. Simply drag and drop audio files (Wondershare DVD Creator accepts a large variety) onto the screen OR click the “+” button to manually browse your computer for the audio files.
Step Three: Organize & Customize
This is the stage where you’ll be able to organize the music that you want to put onto your CD and how your CD will read in the future.
- ● Add or Delete Audio using the “+” and the “Trashcan” icons on the left-hand side of the screen.
- ● Name your CD in the box tagged Disc Label.
Step Four: Burn
We’re in the home stretch now! Make sure that you have the correct burner with your blank CD selected. You can view available DVD drives on the top right-hand corner of the screen. Once you have the drive with your blank CD selected, click the red “Burn” button on the bottom right-hand corner of the screen to begin the burning process.
Part 2. How to Put Music on a CD with Windows Media Player
For our next tutorial, we’re going to be teaching you how to put music on a CD using the Windows Media Player! If you’re a Windows user, then it’s no doubt something that you’re familiar with. It’s built-into computers that run the Windows OS. All you have to do to activate it is to search for it on your computer and answer questions about how you might want to use it! Of course, we’re not going to be focusing on that today. Keep reading to learn how to use Windows Media Player to put Music on a CD!
Put Music on a CD with Windows Media Player
Step One: Burn
After launching Windows Media Player, you’ll need to click the “Burn” button on the top right-hand corner of the screen. Do so and move onto the next step.
Step Two: Create a Burn List
Clicking the “Burn” button will open up a side-toolbar (as shown in the image below.) There, you’ll be able to create something called a burn list. Drag and Drop music from your Windows Media Player library onto the highlighted area in order to create a list of audios to put on a CD!
Step Three: Start Burn
Once you’re happy with how your burn list looks, it’s time to insert a blank disc into a DVD driver connected to your computer. Your computer will then read the blank disc, and the option to click the “Start Burn” button will be available. Do so to permanently put music onto the disc.
Part 3. How to Put Music on a CD Using Mac Computer
If you’re not a fan of computers running the Windows OS, or just generally find yourself to be more of an Apple user, then you’ll find this next trick helpful! For our last tutorial, we’re going to be teaching you how you can use iTunes to put music on a CD. If you have an iOS phone that you use regularly, then you might find this a little easier than the previous method!
How to Put Music on a CD Using Mac
Step One: Playlists
The key to using iTunes as a disc creator is to create a Playlist! It is the playlist that we’re going to be burning on to a disc, so you’ll need to make sure to choose carefully. Create a rudimentary playlist by selecting audio, right-clicking, and clicking Add to Playlist > “New Playlist”
Step Two: Burn Playlist to Disc
Once you’re happy with the audio on your iTunes playlist, click the File tab > “Burn Playlist to Disc” option and then move onto the next step.
Step Three: Burn
A pop-up should appear on your screen (refer to the image below.) To finish putting music onto your CD, select burn speed, choose the “Audio CD” option, and click the “Burn” button!
Conclusion:
That’s really all there is to it! Hopefully, you were able to learn how to put music on a CD in a way that works for you. Of course, if you find yourself a little overwhelmed with the available choices, we recommend that you try out the first program that we introduced. After all, you can do a lot more with the Wondershare DVD Creator than the other two programs, and it will allow you to create more professional CDs as well — without risking any loss of quality in your audio!
