If you’re a regular iPhone user, then you might find this little tip fairly useful. Especially if you’re the type to organize all your music into playlists. We’ll show you what we mean by that in the tutorial below. Where we’re going to be showing you how to burn MP3 CDs through the iTunes software! Of course, you’re going to need to download the program and install it if you want to use it yourself. iTunes is available for FREE on the Apple website.
Put Music on a CD with Windows Media Player
Step One: Create a Playlist
As mentioned, this would be a lot easier if you were already an iOS user. Because the first step is to create a playlist. You can do this by selecting audio, right-clicking, and selecting Add to Playlist > “New Playlist.”
Step Two: File > Burn Playlist to Disc
Once you’ve gotten your playlist all squared away (you can also add or delete more songs as needed during this stage), navigate the File tab and select the “Burn Playlist to Disc” option.
Step Three: Burn Settings
A pop-up titled Burn Settings should pop-up onto your screen. Here, you can select burn speed and a DVD/CD format. For our purposes (to create a CD with Audio), we’ve chosen the Maximum Possible speed and the “Audio CD” option. To finish things up, all you have to do is click the “Burn” button on the bottom half of the screen.
Part 3. How to Burn MP3 CD on Mac
As mentioned, we’ve decided to include a quick little tutorial on how to burn MP3 CDs on Mac as well! For this tutorial, we’ve decided to go through the default options available. For this, all you’re going to need a folder which the music you want to burn in it, a blank CD, and a DVD driver. You won’t need to download or install a separate program. Just follow the steps detailed down below.
How to Burn MP3 CD on Mac
Step One: New Folder
First, you’re going to need a folder with your audio in it. To do this, right-click on the desktop and select the “New Folder” option. That’s where you will need to dump all the MP3 files that you want to burn.
Step Two: Insert CD
Next, insert a CD into your Mac computer (be it through an internal or external drive.) Your Mac will read this CD as blank, and the following message will pop-up onto the screen. Here, you need to simply select “Ignore!”
Step Three: Burn “Music” to Disc
Remember the folder with Music you created in the first step? Right-Click on that and select the “Burn Music to Disc” option.
Step Four: Burn
Another pop-up will appear on your screen. Here, you’ll be able to choose the following:
- ● Disc Name: Fill in the box and give your CD a unique name.
